The Rocking Chair No. 4 combines the warmth of handcrafted solid oak with softly upholstered Matt Velvet seating. Its balanced rocking base, supportive proportions and mid-century-inspired silhouette make it suitable for living rooms, reading corners, bedrooms and nurseries.
Design & Comfort
Comfort Designed for Gentle Movement
The sculpted wooden frame creates a light, expressive profile while supporting a comfortable upholstered seat and backrest. The rocking runners provide gentle movement for reading, resting and everyday relaxation.
The seat measures approximately 50 × 44 cm and is positioned at a height of approximately 50 cm.
Solid Oak Construction
Handcrafted Natural Oak Frame
The visible frame and rocking runners are handcrafted from solid oak and finished to preserve the character of the natural timber. Variations in colour, grain pattern and small knots are inherent features of real wood and make every chair unique.
The upholstered seating uses supportive zigzag springs and resilient HR foam to provide balanced everyday comfort.
As each chair is handmade, minor differences in dimensions, stitching, upholstery tension and wood grain may occur.

Matt Velvet Upholstery
Soft and Durable Matt Velvet
Matt Velvet is a soft, matt-finish upholstery fabric made from 100% polyester. It has a weight of approximately 430 g/m² and an outstanding durability rating of 160,000 Martindale cycles.
The fabric has a pilling-resistance rating of 4/5 and is REACH compliant. Its dense velvet surface creates subtle tonal changes depending on the direction of the pile, lighting conditions and viewing angle.
The complete palette includes 23 colours: MV-06, MV-08, MV-09, MV-29, MV-34, MV-38, MV-48, MV-59, MV-61, MV-63, MV-68, MV-69, MV-72, MV-73, MV-74, MV-75, MV-77, MV-79, MV-83, MV-85, MV-93, MV-97 and MV-99.

Rocking Function & Use
Gentle Everyday Rocking
The curved solid-oak runners provide controlled rocking movement on a suitable, level floor. Use the chair for seated relaxation only and keep the rocking area free from obstacles.
Place the chair on a stable surface with sufficient clearance around the runners. Floor-protection pads or a suitable rug may be used where necessary, provided they do not restrict safe movement.

The Rocking Chair No. 4 is made to order in the selected Matt Velvet colour. Choose one of the available MV-coded options when configuring the product.
Screen settings and lighting can affect colour appearance. We recommend ordering a physical fabric sample before confirming the final upholstery.
Care & Safety
Everyday Care
Remove dust regularly with a soft upholstery attachment. If a spill occurs, blot it promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub, soak the fabric or use bleach, solvents or aggressive cleaning products.
Wipe the oak frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately. Do not use abrasive pads or strong household chemicals.
Keep hands, feet, children and pets clear of the moving runners. Do not stand on the chair, sit on the armrests or use excessive force while rocking. Keep the chair away from open flames, strong heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight.
Made to Order & Delivery
Made to Order in Europe
Each rocking chair is prepared to order in the selected Matt Velvet upholstery colour. Standard production time is approximately 2–4 weeks, followed by delivery time to the destination.
The chair is dispatched from Poland within the European Union. Deliveries within the EU do not require customs clearance. Orders outside the EU may be subject to local import duties, taxes or customs handling charges.
